Who remembers waist-high jeans? High-waisted jeans with an acid wash and shredded, ripped patterns were in vogue in the 80s. Everyone had a pair, and the torn look came back full force this year.
So, get out your neon sunshades and denim. And if you’ve still got old fanny packs lying around, you’re in luck. This once-forgotten accessory has made a huge comeback too. It might surprise you, but fanny packs have become a fashion favorite to pair with high-waisted jeans.
Turtlenecks
Truthfully, these have been around much longer than the 80s, but that was a time when they became popular. With turtlenecks, you can let yourself shine and show off your creative side.
It’s not every day that you see someone in a turtleneck. With fall and winter just around the corner, these will become more and more visible. Imagine the comfort of a warm blanket around your neck.
Platform Shoes
These have been around for some time but have also gone in and out of style. Platforms were hot in the 60s, then in the 80s, and had another resurgence in the 90s.
It’s no surprise that they are hip now in 2022. If you want to show off and look your best, these shoes or boots are for you. These work especially well for shorter ladies. All in all, these are just great pieces of footwear to have in your wardrobe.
