I commissioned Iskra to illustrate a series of five custom “paper dolls” to help promote the launch of The Cut—New York Magazine’s Fashion and Women’s Lifestyle site.
In addition to being a world-class illustrator with an easy-going personality who is a pleasure to deal with, Iskra is a complete pro when it comes to beating deadlines, coming up with creative solutions to feedback, and providing to-spec art.
The dolls she illustrated to highlight the five channels of The Cut (Fashion, Fame, Beauty, Goods, Love, and War), which were printed on magnetic material and die-cut, have all exceeded my expectations and have received a fantastic response from the New York fashion, beauty, and advertising communities.
I could not recommend Iskra more highly, and I look forward to working with her again in the future.
